Personal Data
Personal data is data about you. This includes your name, address and email address. You do not have to disclose any personal data in order to visit our website. In some cases, we require your name and address as well as further information in order to provide you with the service you have requested.
The same applies if we send you information material at your request or if we respond to your enquiries. In these cases, we will always inform you accordingly. Furthermore, we only store data that you have provided to us automatically or voluntarily.
When you use one of our services, we generally only collect the data necessary to provide you with our service. We may ask you for further information, but this is voluntary. Whenever we process personal data, we do so in order to provide you with our service or to pursue our commercial objectives.
Contact
When you contact us (e.g. via contact form, email, telephone or social media), the information provided by the person making the enquiry will be processed to the extent necessary to respond to the enquiry and any requested measures.
The response to contact requests within the framework of contractual or pre-contractual relationships is carried out to fulfil our contractual obligations or to respond to (pre-)contractual enquiries and, in all other cases, on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to the enquiries.
- Types of data processed: Inventory data (e.g. names, addresses), contact details (e.g. email, telephone numbers), content data (e.g. entries in online forms).
- Data subjects: Communication partners.
- Purposes of processing: Contact enquiries and communication.
- Legal basis: Contract fulfilment and pre-contractual enquiries (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. GDPR), legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR).
Automatically stored data
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Date and time of the request
- Name of the file requested
- Page from which the file was requested
- Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
- Web browser and operating system used
- Full IP address of the requesting computer
- Amount of data transferred
This data is not merged with other data sources. Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.
For technical security reasons, in particular to defend against attempts to attack our web server, we store this data for a short period of time. We cannot draw any conclusions about individual persons from this data. After seven days at the latest, the data is anonymised by shortening the IP address to domain level so that it is no longer possible to establish a link to the individual user. The data is also processed in anonymised form for statistical purposes; it is not compared with other data sets or passed on to third parties, even in excerpts.
Cookies
Our websites use so-called cookies. Cookies are small data packets that do not cause any damage to your computer. They are either stored temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or your web browser automatically deletes them.
Cookies may originate from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services from third-party companies within websites (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies have different functions. Many cookies are technically necessary because without them certain functions of the website would not work (e.g. the shopping basket function or the display of videos). Other cookies may be used to analyse user behaviour or for advertising purposes.
Cookies that are necessary for the electronic communication process, for the provision of certain functions you have requested (e.g. for the shopping basket function) or for the optimisation of the website (e.g. cookies for measuring the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies and similar recognition technologies has been obtained, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TDDDG); consent can be revoked at any time.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted. You can find out which cookies and services are used on this website in this privacy policy.
You can change your settings for the use of cookies at any time here: Cookie Policy
Registration on the website
The data subject has the option of registering on the website of the controller, providing personal data. The following personal data is collected: name, email address.
By registering on the website of the controller, the IP address assigned by the data subject's Internet service provider (ISP), the date and time of registration are also stored. This data is stored for the purpose of preventing misuse of our services and, if necessary, enabling the investigation of criminal offences. In this respect, the storage of this data is necessary for the protection of the controller. This data will not be passed on to third parties unless there is a legal obligation to do so or the disclosure serves the purpose of criminal prosecution.
The registration of the data subject by voluntarily providing personal data serves the purpose of enabling the controller to offer the data subject content or services that, due to their nature, can only be offered to registered users. Registered persons are free to change the personal data provided during registration at any time or to have it completely deleted from the data controller's database.
You undertake to treat your personal access data as confidential and not to make it accessible to unauthorised third parties. We cannot accept any liability for misused passwords unless we are responsible for the misuse. With the "stay logged in" function, we want to make your visit to our websites as pleasant as possible. This function allows you to use our services without having to log in again each time. For security reasons, however, you will be asked to enter your password again if, for example, your personal data is to be changed or you wish to place an order. We recommend that you do not use this function if the computer is used by multiple users. Please note that the "remain logged in" function is not available if you use a setting that automatically deletes stored cookies after each session.
Cookiebot
Our website uses Cookiebot consent technology to obtain your consent to the storage of certain cookies on your device or to use certain technologies and to document this in accordance with data protection regulations. The provider of this technology is Cybot A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark (hereinafter referred to as "Cookiebot").
When you enter our website, a connection to Cookiebot's servers is established to obtain your consent and other declarations regarding the use of cookies. Cookiebot then stores a cookie in your browser to assign the consents you have given or revoked to you. The data collected in this way is stored until you request us to delete it, delete the Cookiebot cookie yourself or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory legal retention obligations remain unaffected.
Cookiebot is used to obtain the legally required consent for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR.
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR with the above-mentioned provider. This is a contract required by data protection law, which ensures that the provider processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Tag Manager is a tool that allows us to integrate tracking or statistics tools and other technologies on our website. Google Tag Manager itself does not create any user profiles, does not store cookies and does not perform any independent analyses. It is used solely for the management and playback of the tools integrated via it. However, Google Tag Manager does collect your IP address, which may also be transferred to Google's parent company in the United States.
The use of Google Tag Manager is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyse the behaviour of website visitors. The website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, length of stay, operating systems used and the origin of the user. This data is aggregated in a user ID and assigned to the respective end device of the website visitor.
Furthermore, Google Analytics allows us to record your mouse movements, scrolls and clicks, among other things. Google Analytics also uses various modelling approaches to supplement the data sets collected and uses machine learning technologies for data analysis.
Google Analytics uses technologies that enable user recognition for the purpose of analysing user behaviour (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The use of this service is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/
Google Ads
The website operator uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising programme provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Ads enables us to display advertisements in the Google search engine or on third-party websites when the user enters certain search terms in Google (keyword targeting). Furthermore, targeted advertisements can be displayed based on user data available to Google (e.g. location data and interests) (target group targeting). As the website operator, we can evaluate this data quantitatively, for example by analysing which search terms led to the display of our advertisements and how many advertisements led to corresponding clicks.
The use of this service is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and 25 para. 1 TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
For the USA, an adequacy decision has been made by the European Commission, provided that companies are certified under the Data Privacy Framework Programme. Google is certified accordingly and thus complies with the requirements of the EU Commission.
LinkedIn Insight Tag
This website uses LinkedIn's Insight Tag. The provider of this service is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.
With the help of the LinkedIn Insight Tag, we receive information about visitors to our website. If a website visitor is registered with LinkedIn, we can analyse the key professional data (e.g. career level, company size, country, location, industry and job title) of our website visitors and thus better tailor our site to the respective target groups. Furthermore, with the help of LinkedIn Insight Tags, we can measure whether visitors to our websites make a purchase or take other actions (conversion measurement). Conversion measurement can also be carried out across devices (e.g. from PC to tablet). LinkedIn Insight Tag also offers a retargeting function that allows us to display targeted advertising to visitors to our website outside the website, whereby, according to LinkedIn, the advertising recipient is not identified.
LinkedIn itself also collects so-called log files (URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser properties and time of access). IP addresses are shortened or (if used to reach LinkedIn members across devices) hashed (pseudonymised). The direct identifiers of LinkedIn members are deleted by LinkedIn after seven days. The remaining pseudonymised data is then deleted within 180 days.
As the website operator, we cannot assign the data collected by LinkedIn to specific individuals. LinkedIn will store the personal data collected from website visitors on its servers in the United States and use it for its own advertising purposes. For details, please refer to LinkedIn's privacy policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy#choices-oblig.
The use of LinkedIn Insight is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in effective advertising measures, including social media. If consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and 25 para. 1 TDDDG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.
Details can be found here: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/dpa and https://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/eu-sccs.
You can object to the analysis of your usage behaviour and targeted advertising by LinkedIn at the following link: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.

We use the "Cloudflare" service. The provider is Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (hereinafter "Cloudflare").

This enables Cloudflare to analyse the data traffic between your browser and our website and to act as a filter between our servers and potentially malicious traffic from the Internet. In doing so, Cloudflare may also use cookies or other technologies to recognise Internet users, but these are used solely for the purpose described here.

Storage period
Unless a more specific storage period is specified in this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for erasure or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. tax or commercial law retention periods); in the latter case, the data will be deleted once these reasons no longer apply.
Recipients of personal data
We work with various external parties in the course of our business activities. This sometimes requires the transfer of personal data to these external parties. We only pass on personal data to external parties if this is necessary for the fulfilment of a contract, if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. passing on data to tax authorities), if we have a legitimate interest in passing on the data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, or if another legal basis permits the transfer of data. When using processors, we only pass on personal data of our customers on the basis of a valid contract for order processing. Whenever we collect and process personal data, it is encrypted before it is transferred. This means that your data cannot be misused by third parties. Our security measures are subject to a continuous improvement process and our privacy policies are constantly being revised. Please ensure that you have the latest version.
Rights of data subjects
You have the right to obtain information about your stored data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to object to its processing, to data portability and to lodge a complaint in accordance with the requirements of data protection law.
